A West Virginia shop. A West Virginia voice.
Small shop. Custom work. Honest about how we work.
Why we do this.
Story to be filled in by the Stewart family. Until then, what we can say is this:
We are a working monument shop in north-central West Virginia. We design and engrave headstones for families across nineteen counties. Every headstone is drawn from scratch — no catalog picks. That is the work, and that is the point.
The shop stands on a West Virginia highway in Mannington, on ground that has seen a lot of families come through. We do not pretend to be more than we are. We also do not pretend to be less.
Three words.
Proud.
Our name goes on every headstone that leaves this shop. We are proud of what we make, and we are proud of the families we make it for.
Loyal.
Loyal to West Virginia cemeteries, loyal to West Virginia families, loyal to the way this work used to be done — by hand, with care, without a sales quota hanging over it.
Uniquely designed.
Every design is drawn for one family and nobody else. That is not a marketing promise. It is just how we work.
A note on timelines and calls.
If you have heard the mixed history, we have too. Today: we respond within two business days, we quote realistic timelines in writing before any deposit (typically 10 to 16 weeks for a custom headstone), and we send a written update every other week until your stone is set. Hold us to it.
Credentials.
Memberships, certifications, and partnerships to be added as Stewart provides them. We do not list what we cannot verify.
The work, simply.
